Free on every visit

The Car Health Check.

Free on every visit. We check the things that get forgotten between services, and text you what we find. It comes with every package and every Car Club visit, and adds about 5–10 min to the job.

Tyre pressures set to the number on your door placard
Tyre tread and sidewalls looked over for wear, bulges and nails
Engine oil level checked on the dipstick
Coolant and brake fluid levels checked by eye
Windscreen washer topped up
Headlights, indicators and wiper blades checked

You get the results by text

After every visit you get a text with photos: what's fine, what's low, and anything worth showing a mechanic.

If the oil is low, we tell you. Leave the right oil out and we'll top it up. We never guess the grade.

It's a check, not a service or a safety inspection. We don't fix, replace or diagnose anything, and it doesn't replace your logbook service.

How we price it

Fixed, and said up front.

Size sets the price

Four sizes: hatch / sedan (Yaris, Corolla, Camry), SUV (RAV4, CX-5, Tucson), 7-seater / 4WD (Kluger, Prado, Carnival), van (HiAce, Transit, Sprinter). Bigger cars have more glass, carpet and panel, so they cost a bit more.

No surprise fees

The price in the table is the price. If your car is far worse than normal, the detailer texts you a photo and a price before starting, and you decide.

Where it's parked

Tell us when you book. In apartment car parks and on the street we use a rinseless wash. Where the water has somewhere to go, a traditional wash.

48-hour re-do promise. If we've missed something, tell us within 48 hours and we'll come back and fix it.

Straight up

What we don't do.

Worth reading before you book. We'd rather you knew now than found out on the day.

Paint correction, cutting or machine polishing

We don't do it, so we don't sell it. If your paint is swirled or scratched, a detail will make it clean. It won't make it new.

Ceramic coating

Done properly it needs corrected paint and a controlled space. The spray sealant in the Full Detail is what we offer instead.

Anything mechanical: servicing, logbooks, brakes, diagnostics

We're detailers, not mechanics. That's a licensed trade in NSW and we're not licensed for it. The Car Health Check tells you what we see. It doesn't fix it.

We clean cars. That's the whole offer. If you need mechanical work, a smash repairer or a paint shop, we're happy to say so and point you somewhere else.

Common questions

Before you book.

Do I need to be home?

No, as long as we can get to the car and it's unlocked or you've left a key somewhere sensible. Plenty of people go to work and come back to a finished car.

Do you need my water or power?

Tell us where the car's parked and we'll bring the right setup for it. A power point within about 15 m helps, because the vacuum and the extractor run on it.

How long does it take?

Refresh: 60–75 min. Full Detail: 3–4 hours. Pre-Sale Detail: 4.5–5.5 hours. A Car Club visit is 40–45 min.

Is the price fixed?

Yes. It's set by the service and the size of the car. If the car is far worse than normal, the detailer texts you a photo and a price before starting. You say yes or no. Nothing gets added at the end.

What if you miss something?

Tell us within 48 hours and we'll come back and re-do it.

When can you come?

Weekdays first, Tuesday to Friday. We have a limited number of Saturdays.

Can you do it at my work?

Usually. A work car park is fine as long as your building is happy with it. Check with them first.
