How do I get a quote?

Are your prices fixed or hourly?

Fixed per job. We tell you the exact price up front after seeing photos — no surprise hourly bills. The only time we'll charge extra is if the job is significantly different from what we quoted based on the photos (rare).

Question 3

Do you offer discounts?

Accepted Answer

Yes — subscribers on a plan get 10-15% off add-ons. We also bundle services (e.g. lawn + pressure wash + rubbish removal in one visit) for better pricing than booking each separately.

Question 4

Do I pay before or after?

Accepted Answer

After. We invoice after the job is done and happy with the work. Pay by bank transfer or card. Subscribers pay monthly in advance via Stripe.

Cancellation policy?

24 hours notice is appreciated. Same-day cancellations might be charged a small call-out fee if we're already on the way (around $40). Subscription plans are month-to-month — cancel anytime.

What suburbs do you service?

All of Sydney. We're based in Fairfield (2165) and regularly service the Inner West, Macarthur, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Bankstown, Sutherland Shire, Hills District, and everywhere in between. If you're inside the Sydney metro, we'll come.

How soon can you come?

Accepted Answer

Most first-time bookings get on the books within 2-3 business days. Urgent jobs (rental rush, pre-sale) we'll try to squeeze in next-day. Subscribers always get priority.

Do I need to be home?

Accepted Answer

Only if we need access through a locked gate or inside. Most of our work is outside and accessible — we'll SMS you before/after photos so you know exactly what we did.

What about weekends?

We work Saturday mornings occasionally for urgent jobs, but weekdays are our main schedule. Sunday is off — it's the one day we don't run a mower.

What if it rains?

We don't mow wet lawns or pressure wash in heavy rain — it ruins the finish. If your day gets rained out, we reschedule to the next dry day, usually within 24-48 hours.

Are you insured?

Yes — $10M public liability insurance. We can send the certificate of currency on request. If any of your property gets damaged while we're working on it, we're covered.

Are you licensed?

Yes — ABN 20 718 194 132, GST registered. Lawn care and pressure washing don't require a trade licence in NSW, but we follow all WorkCover safety rules.

What chemicals do you use for pressure washing?

Accepted Answer

For driveways, paths, and pavers we use a sodium hypochlorite-based pre-treatment (the same active ingredient as standard household bleach, just at the right concentration) to kill algae, lichen, and black spot before the wash. For oil and grease we use a commercial-grade alkaline degreaser. Both are diluted to safe levels, rinsed thoroughly, and biodegrade within 24-48 hours. We don't use anything that's banned in NSW or that requires a chemical-handling licence.

Are the pressure-wash chemicals safe for my plants and lawn?

Accepted Answer

Yes — at the dilutions we use. Plants directly under treated walls get covered with a tarp or pre-rinsed before we start, and we rinse the surrounding garden afterwards. We've never killed a lawn or plant on the job. If you have an unusually delicate species (orchids, native ferns), tell us upfront and we'll either skip that area or use a plant-neutral alternative.

Are the chemicals safe for pets and kids?

Yes, once dry. While we're treating, we ask everyone (pets included) to stay off the wet area. The active ingredients break down within a couple of hours of rinsing. By the time we leave, surfaces are safe to walk on. We can share Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for any product on request — happy to email them through.

What about soft wash chemicals for the house exterior?

Soft washing the house uses a milder dilution of the same sodium hypochlorite blend plus a surfactant (which lets the chemical cling to vertical walls instead of running off). That kills the mould and algae at the root, not just on the surface — which is why a soft wash lasts 9-12 months and a high-pressure wash without chemicals comes back in 3. Safe for paint, render, brick, and Colorbond.

What products do you use for weed spraying?

A pet-safe selective herbicide (typically glyphosate-free, MCPA + dicamba based) that targets broadleaf weeds without damaging your lawn grass. Pets and kids can be back on the lawn within 4 hours of application once the spray has dried. We do not use Roundup-style total-kill products on residential lawns.

Are your products biodegradable?

All the wash chemicals we use break down naturally within 24-48 hours, well within standard council stormwater guidelines. We never let undiluted product run into drains — if a job is near a drain we tarp it and capture run-off before rinsing. Tip-fee disposal of any waste is included in our quote.

What about noise?

Commercial equipment is loud. We start jobs from 8am weekdays (later on weekends). If you work from home, let us know — we can time the noisiest part for when you're on a break.

Do you provide before and after photos?

Accepted Answer

Every single job. We SMS them to you the day of the visit so you know the work was done and how it looks. We also keep them on file — handy for insurance or if you want to share a transformation with a friend.

What if I'm not happy with the work?

Tell us. We'll come back and fix it — free. We've only had to do this a handful of times in years of work but the policy is firm: if you're not happy, we're not done.

Do you bring your own water?

Accepted Answer

We hook up to your garden tap for most jobs. If your property has no tap or very low pressure, we can bring a water tank on the truck (+$40 surcharge).

Can I request a specific day each fortnight?

Accepted Answer

Yes — subscription customers get a 'visit day' that stays the same (e.g. every other Wednesday). One-off customers get the next available slot that works for both of us.

How much does pressure washing cost in Sydney?

For a standard Sydney suburban driveway (single or double, ~30-50m²) expect $179-$329 depending on condition, slope and access. Concrete paths add $4-$6 per m². A full driveway + path + entry combo on a typical Western Sydney block usually lands between $299-$449. We always quote a fixed price up front from photos — no hourly meter, no surprises.

Soft washing a single-storey rendered or brick house in Sydney typically costs $399-$699 depending on footprint and storey count. Double-storey homes start around $699 and Hills District / Inner West heritage homes with intricate render can run $899-$1,200. How often should I pressure wash my driveway in Sydney?

For most Sydney suburbs every 12-18 months is the sweet spot. Shaded driveways under gum trees (most of the Hills, Carlingford, Cherrybrook) accumulate algae faster and benefit from an annual wash. North-facing concrete with full sun can stretch to 24 months. We pre-treat with a chemical that kills the spores at the root, so the result lasts 3-4× longer than a plain water blast.

How long does pressure washing a driveway take?

A standard Sydney driveway takes 1.5-3 hours from setup to pack-down. The chemical pre-treatment dwells for 10-15 minutes before we hit it with the rotary surface cleaner — that's where most of the visible time goes. You don't need to be home; we'll send before/after photos when we're done.

Will pressure washing damage my concrete or pavers?

Not when it's done with the right tool. We use a rotary surface cleaner (a flat disc that rides on bristles) rather than a focused wand on concrete and pavers — that delivers an even finish without etching, tiger stripes or pitting. Old, flaky pavers or crumbling concrete get flagged before we start so you know what to expect.

How much does lawn mowing cost in Western Sydney?

Single-visit lawn mowing in Western Sydney starts at $69 for a small front-and-back (≤300 m² block), $89 for a standard suburban block (300-600 m²), and $119+ for larger lots over 600 m². Subscription customers on a fortnightly plan pay $59-$99 per visit depending on block size. Edging, whipper-snipping and clippings hauled away are always included.

Who does the best lawn mowing in Western Sydney?

Honest answer: depends what you value. We're owner-operated, fixed-price, fully insured, and the same crew turns up every visit — that's why most of our Bossley Park, Edensor Park, Cecil Hills and Liverpool customers stay on subscription for years. We're not the cheapest. We are the most consistent.

How often should I mow my lawn in Sydney?

September-March (growing season): every 7-10 days for kikuyu and couch, every 10-14 days for buffalo. April-August: every 3-4 weeks. Most of our subscription customers run fortnightly year-round and we skip the off-season visits when the lawn doesn't need it — you don't pay for visits we don't do.

Do you mow lawns in winter?

Yes — but less often. Sydney lawns slow right down June-August. We typically drop subscription customers to a 4-weekly winter cadence and use the time to do edging, weed treatment and a clean-up of garden beds instead. You stay on the schedule, you don't pay for unnecessary mows.

Do you do gardening as well as lawn mowing?

Yes — hedge trimming, garden bed tidy-ups, mulching, weed spraying and basic pruning all fall under our lawn-and-garden service. We're not landscape designers (we won't draw you a new garden) but we'll keep an existing one looking sharp.

Do you service Liverpool, Campbelltown and the Macarthur region?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Liverpool, Casula, Moorebank, Chipping Norton, Campbelltown, Ingleburn, Minto, Macquarie Fields, Mount Annan and the surrounding Macarthur suburbs are all on our regular run. Campbelltown is about 35 minutes from our Fairfield depot and we're out there most weeks already.

Do you service the Hills District (Castle Hill, Kellyville, Baulkham Hills)?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Castle Hill, Kellyville, Baulkham Hills, Bella Vista, Norwest, Rouse Hill, Cherrybrook and the rest of the Hills District are all covered. The Hills is about 35-45 minutes from Fairfield so we batch jobs there on the same day to keep travel costs out of your quote.

Do you service the Inner West (Strathfield, Burwood, Ashfield)?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Strathfield, Burwood, Concord, Homebush, Ashfield, Croydon, Parramatta, Merrylands, Granville and the wider Inner West are all on our regular schedule. Most Inner West jobs are 25-30 minutes from our base.

Do you service Bankstown, Yagoona and Greenacre?

Yes — Bankstown, Yagoona, Greenacre, Punchbowl, Padstow, Revesby and Panania are all in our regular Bankstown & Canterbury run, around 20-25 minutes from Fairfield.

Do you service the Camden growth corridor (Oran Park, Gregory Hills, Leppington)?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Oran Park, Gregory Hills, Leppington, Catherine Field, Spring Farm, Harrington Park, Narellan and Camden itself are all on our regular run. Lots of new builds out there with freshly-laid lawns settling in — we know the quirks.

Do you cover Penrith and the outer west?

Yes — Penrith, St Marys, Mount Druitt, Glenmore Park, Jordan Springs, Erskine Park, Kingswood and Werrington are all serviced. Penrith is around 40 minutes from base so we batch outer-west jobs to keep margins (and your price) sensible.

What if my suburb isn't on your list?

Send us a message anyway. If you're inside the Sydney metro and within ~50 minutes of Fairfield NSW 2165, we can almost certainly help. We exclude the Northern Beaches, North Shore and Eastern Suburbs because the drive time eats the margin — but everywhere else in Sydney is fair game.

What's a 'property revival' and how is it different from regular maintenance?

Accepted Answer

A full property revival is a one-day overhaul where we knock out the lawn, edges, driveway, paths, fence wash, gutter clean and a soft wash of the house exterior in a single coordinated visit. What's the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?

Accepted Answer

Pressure washing uses high water pressure — right for concrete, brick paving and rough surfaces. Soft washing uses low pressure plus a chemical that kills mould and algae at the root — right for render, painted walls, Colorbond fences and roof tiles. Using high pressure on render or paint will strip the finish; using soft wash on a driveway won't shift baked-in grime. We pick the right tool for each surface.

Can you clean Colorbond fences and roofs?

Accepted Answer

Yes for fences — soft wash with a mild chemical brings them back to factory colour. We don't currently do roof cleaning (height + safety equipment) but we know good operators we can refer you to.

Can you remove oil stains from my driveway?

Accepted Answer

Most of them, yes. Fresh oil and grease come up with our commercial alkaline degreaser. Old, deeply-soaked stains may lighten significantly but not vanish completely — we'll be honest in the quote if a stain looks like it'll only go 70-80% rather than disappearing fully.

Do you do real estate / pre-sale property prep?

Yes — this is a big chunk of what we do. Quick Reset ($449) is the popular pre-sale package: lawn cut, edges sharpened, driveway pressure-washed and front entry made photo-ready in one visit. Most agents recommend booking it the week before professional photos.

Yes. Send a photo of the lease's outdoor condition clause and we'll match the scope. Receipt-ready invoice for the agent. Usually $199-$449 depending on yard size and how feral things have got.

Yes — small commercial sites, strata common areas, restaurant kerbside paths and shopfront soft-wash work all fit our setup. For larger commercial portfolios we'll put together a quarterly programme with COI, SWMS and after-hours scheduling.
